Irene McCann

Irene McCann holds a diploma in graphic design from the West of Scotland University however this was not her chosen path and she instead found an interest in Fine Art, which has been mainly self taught. Irene is a committee member of Paisley Art Institute and Artist member of GSWA and GAC.

Irene's main body of my work consists predominately of oil on linen, of which the subject matter is still life, everyday domestic items, naturally observed through her own personal and imaginative perception. This is a constant development. Inspiration for her work is brought about by her love of colour, shapes and textures.
