Olivia Brown

With a First Class Honours Degree in Contemporary Craft from Manchester University, Olivia Brown was fortunate enough to have such a strong demand for her work, that she became self-employed almost immediately upon graduating.

She is hugely popular with shows throughout the Country.  Exhibiting in established galleries such as Medici and Stephanie Hoppen in London, along with high profile commissions including the Stockport Gallery, Olivia’s work invariably sells out .
Olivia has an incredible ability to sculpt dogs beautifully whilst showing their individuality, humour and devilment.  The Ballater Gallery is honoured to represent Olivia in the North East of Scotland.  If time allows in Olivia’s busy work schedule, and whilst looking after a young family, commissions might also be considered by speaking to the staff at the Gallery.

Gallerist comment - ‘I had often admired Olivia’s work in a gallery down south. The quirkiness and accuracy whereby Olivia’s understanding of the breeds individuality all appealed to me. Unsurprising about 6 years ago when my Schnauzer, Basil was just one, I commissioned Olivia to complete a life size sculpture of him. I love it - it captures every aspect of his character, including his high maintenance tendencies!’
