A graduate of Glasgow School of Art where she trained under David Donaldson and Sandy Goudie , Jennifer then decided to teach in schools herself before opting to be a professional artist back in 2001 .
Jennifer Mackenzie is hugely successful across the country and one can easily see that she is influenced by the traditions of Scottish fine art painting . Her wonderfully colourful still life’s are quite obviously influenced by some of the country’s most celebrated colourists of the last century and her many International collectors love her traditional style but with modern twist using fabulously vibrant colours .
