Artist Hana Kaciniel

Born in Poland in the small village of Koczala, Hanna is now settled and living in Renfrewshire with her young family.

Brought up from humble beginning and as the youngest of six children, Hanna was introduced to art by her dear Grandfather who taught her to draw and saw a very special potential.   With great love and determination from her family, Hanna won a place at the Koszalin a provincial Art School when she was only fifteen !

Taught with a classical approach to still life and now settled in Scotland and married to Scotsman David, Hanna’s huge success has largely been built by moving away from traditional to a more modern ‘Pop Art ‘ style.  Her meticulous style of painting subjects of all of our ‘childhood favourites‘ is somewhat inspired and so different from other artists in the country.

Gallerist comment “I had been trying to persuade Hanna to join us in Ballater for a long time but, she never had any stock.  At last in late July 2020 Hanna has arrived and her wonderful Liquorice Allsorts painting is so emblematic of her fabulous work which brings a huge smile to both the experienced and new collector alike.”
